This sturdy cooler bag has 2 sections - the bottom section which is insulated and the top section for your dry good, books, clothes, etc.
A fully insulated cooler compartment that holds up to 8-9 (12oz) cans. A removable plastic liner that makes it easy to clean. The insulated section is heat sealed to prevent leaking. A front (zippered) pocket for your extras.
The upper section is excellent for books, shoes or if you want to carry dry goods such as chips, cookies, etc. An inside pocket to hold your cell phone as well as two small pockets for your keys, extra cash, small wallet.. Finally, a large zippered pocket in front to hold your valuables.

Why do you suggest NOT putting loose ice into the backpack cooler? What ice packs should I use?
The reason for this is simple, loose ice melts faster and makes the ice chest cooler heavier than needs be. Also, the sharp edges may puncture holes and cause leaks. Ice packs are available in many different sizes and styles. To make your own, simply fill a large, air tight, waterproof plastic ziplock bag with clean water and freeze.
We suggest that you DO NOT put loose ice in the food coolers.
How big is the cooler/backpack section?
The insulated section (bottom) holds about 8-9 (12oz) cans with room for some small extras. The top section is quite spacious.
How does this close?
Both sections have zipper closures.
Are these coolers lead free?
The cooler section of this bag has been tested and have been advised that these items are below the standard acceptable level.
