| California Innovations Cooler InfoTherma-Flect® Insulation
California Innovations' Therma-Flect®
Insulation is a revolutionary insulation that locks in cold or heat to maintain
an optimum temperature in the cooler. Therma-Flect® Insulation is comprised of a rugged, water
and stain resistant outer shell, with a high density closed cell foam insulation
core. A patented reflective heat barrier makes up the interior layer.
Independent lab tests and ongoing performance testing
confirm that Therma-Flect® Insulation can keep food cold or frozen for hours.
The Therma-Flect® Air-Lock Insulation System is our newest and highest
performing insulation-our best ever!
Therma-Flect® Air-Lock is constructed of two layers of high
density closed cell foam "sandwiched" around a layer of open cell
foam. This triple layered insulation locks in the air, which is the key to
superior insulation.
Thermal Drink Pockets™
Our patented Thermal Drink Pockets™
are built right into the lid of many of our collapsible coolers. They serve a
number of very important functions:
They are a convenient beverage
holder. They keep drinks colder, longer by partially immersing the insulated
"pocket" into the cool environment of the cooler. When
not in use, they collapse to save space.
Seamless/Removable Inner Liners
All California Innovations' inner
liners are made of the highest quality PVC or EVA material, meeting or exceeding
strict safety standards both in America and in Europe. All inner liners are easy
to clean with warm water and soap. Some inner liners have the additional feature of Built-in
Microban® antimicrobial protection. Microban® antimicrobial technology
provides permanent and continuous protection by inhibiting odors and stains
caused by bacteria, molds, and mildew. This feature ensures that our coolers
stay fresher, longer between cleanings.
Caution:
Do not place coolers or their inner liners in the freezer as low temperatures will cause the liner material to become brittle and crack
resulting in leakage.
Do not put excessively hot pots or dishes directly against
the inner liner as high temperatures will cause the liner material to melt or
degrade resulting in leakage. When placing hot food in your cooler, it is
advisable to place a kitchen towel against the liner material
